During his ten year career, he has opened for international acts as diverse as Beck, Calexico, The Handsome Family, Marshall Crenshaw, The Melvins, Kasper Hauser Comedy Troupe, and 999 Eyes Human Oddities Freak Show!
Fast Heart Mart can play up to four sets of 45 minutes each and gives preference to festivals, lounges, cafes, special events and house concerts. He travels the US in a VW van that runs on waste vegetable oil and has even toured as far as New Zealand where he played at the The World Buskers Festival in Christchurch in 2007.
In 2008, he headlined the world's premiere 2 day sustainability event, SOLFEST in Hopland, California at The Solar Living Institute with Ed Begley Jr.
